STORM DAMAGE AFFECTING SERVICES

As a result of the recent storm damage affecting the Highway 26 corridor, Volcano Communications Group’s facilities, which deliver services to many of the residents of Calaveras County, have been greatly threatened. We are proactively working to re-route the delivery of voice, internet and video services. Our goal is to minimize the downtime during repairs. We appreciate the patience of our customers during this process.

Your Landline Phone

Why It's So Important

When traditional services go out due to power outages to your home or business, as long as the phone lines themselves are not down, your copper-wired phone will work when the lights are out, provided the instrument used does not require power itself. Keeping a standard, corded phone available can be a lifeline simply by hooking it up to a phone jack. For businesses, this may be the line that supports your fax machine. Click here for more reasons you should keep your landline.
